School Age Care

Navy Child and Youth Programs, School Age Care program (SAC) provides critical childcare service for eligible military families. Services include care before and after school, and transportation to and from the program. We also offer full-day care on days when schools are having in-service days or on break. Our staff works in close partnership with parents to meet the needs of each child and provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.


SAC is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and affiliated with both the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and 4-H


HOLIDAY BREAK & SUMMER CAMPS

Holiday break camps are scheduled in coordination with local school district calendars. The camps include tons of fun activities, field trips, service projects and more. Camps are offered for the fall, winter and spring breaks. During the summer break, weekly camps are offered.

SAC's summer camp program is available for children ages 5-12 sponsored by Active Duty, Activated Reservists, DoD Civilians, and DoD Contractors. Camp activities include field trips and service projects. To request care for the weeks you need, register at www.MilitaryChildcare.com.

CHILDCARE PRICING

Childcare fees are based on total family income. For current fees, please contact the SAC at 817-782-7566.

The SAC offers drop-in hourly care which is offered as space is available. Cost is $8 an hour or portion of an hour. Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance. Please call the SAC for more info.

TEEN PROGRAM

The teen program activities include lock-ins, ski and tubing trips, lake days and "#WeOwnFridays," held the last Friday of every month and providing a night of fun and entertainment. Your teen can even bring along a sponsored/unsponsored friend! For more info and to be added to our contact list, please call the SAC.
