A Note About COVID
Safety precautions are in place for all MWR facilities and events, including limiting capacity, temperature checks, masks, and social distancing. 500 Mile Club
Participants will have until December 31 to do the following: run 100 miles, row 50 miles, swim 50 miles, and bike 200 miles (indoor or out). The last 100 miles can be the activity of the participant's choice, including walking. All who meet the goal will receive a 500 Mile Club T-shirt. Sign up to participate and log your miles. Virtual Fishing Derby
A monthlong virtual fishing competition you can do at any outdoor body of water in Texas. Prizes for whoever catches the most black bass, white bass, crappie, and catfish. More info: download the flyer, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 817-782-1270.
Fitness and Sports Challenge
As part of National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, Navy MWR has prepared a different challenge for each week of May, including the 1984 Challenge, the Iron Anchor Challenge, the Triple Threat Challenge, and the Push-Pull Challenge. Activities are free and you will be participating with service members around the world. For details, download the Fitness Challenge Guide. NOFFS is the Navy Operational Fitness and Fuel System. You’ll learn exercises that will help improve your strength, endurance, agility, speed, even help your posture, and you can do it all without needing weights or a big exercise room. It's a workout that is fast, intense, and never boring. Classes are scheduled for Saturday, May 1, Saturday, May 29, and the second Tuesday of each month. All times 1100-1230. Captain’s Cup: GOLF

Full Moon Paddle

Summer Reading Program

Kayak Fishing 101

Disc Golf Monday Meetups
MWR's new course is now open, and is located near the Lone Star Center, Bldg. 2570. Meet up with other players Mondays at 1630 or play on your own. MWR Bike Club
Monthly, casual group bike rides. Bring your own bike or rent one of ours for just $10. Rides are usually1000 to 1200 the third Saturday of the month (weather permitting), at Airfield Falls Trailhead (just outside the base; no transportation provided). 817-913-2388.
MWR Walking Club
A fun, casual group walk every Wednesday along the Trinity Trails, about 3 miles round-trip. Meet at 1400 at the trailhead of Airfield Falls park, just outside of the base. Please register by day before. 817-913-2388.
TEN Bowling Center Grill
