A Note About COVID
Safety precautions are in place for all MWR facilities and events, including limitiing capacity, temperature checks, masks, and social distancing. An overview of the safety protocols for each facility is availble here. Please be sure you are aware of all protocols before attending an event or facility. We regret that the movie theater and Lone Star Center remain closed due to the pandemic. Be safe. Be kind.


100-Mile Club
Throughout February and March, we’ll hold regular group runs to help you reach this goal. Group runs will be held at 1045 Mondays and Wednesdays, and at 0645 on Fridays. Captain’s Cup

Virtual Black History Month Celebration
How do you and/or your family celebrate Black History Month? Visit our Facebook page and share your story. Participants will be entered in a drawing to win a bundle of books by black authors or featuring black characters. Winners will be notified via Facebook at the beginning of March. 817-782-7735

MWR Bike Club
Monthly, casual group bike rides. Bring your own bike or rent one of ours for just $10. Rides are usually1000 to 1200 the third Saturday of the month (weather permitting), at Airfield Falls Trailhead (just outside the base; no transportation provided). 817-913-2388.

Swim Into Spring Challenge
January 25 to March 20. Keep track of your laps and you might win a prize. New this year: This year’s event includes a competition for rowers. 817-782-1220. REGISTER.

First Saturday Fun Days
A different activity each month. February 6 activity: Hiking in Sansom Park, 2501 Roberts Cut Off Road, Fort Worth, TX 76114. Meet at the park at 1100. Please sign up at least one day in advance.  817-913-2388.

We'll play four rounds of Bingo and broadcast the games live on our Facebook page. 1800 to 1900 Friday, Feb. 26. To play, you'll need to pick up your official cards, just visit any MWR facility during their normal business hours. Great fun for the family, and the winner of each game will receive a $70 gift card! Sponsored by USAA.

NRSE Nautical Mile Challenge Presented by GEICO Military

Texas Independence Day Celebration
Games, fun, and live music from Vanessa Leigh. No charge, lunch available for purchase from the TEN Bowling Center Grill. Tuesday, March 2, 1100 to 1400 in front of the bowling Center on Military Parkway. Sponsored by First Command

Three-Point Challenge
Participants will have 45 seconds to shoot up to 15 balls and rack up as many points as they can. Head-to-head competition, double elimination tournament. 1630 to 2100 Tuesday, March 9. Registration opens February 22 and continues through the day of the event. Register in-person at the Fitness Center, Building 1810. More info: 817-782-7770.

Bowling for MWR Bucks
Three randomly selected contestants will throw three bowling balls each. With each throw, oarticipants can win up to $10 in MWR Bucks, which can be used for a variety of MWR services. 1800 to 1830 Thursday, March 11. NOFFS Workouts
NOFFS is the Navy Operational Fitness and Fuel System. You’ll learn exercises that will help improve your strength, endurance, agility, speed, even help your posture, and you can do it all without needing weights or a big exercise room. Classes will be held two Saturdays each month and the second Tuesday of the month, from 1100 to 1230. We’ll be meeting at various facilities on base. First session is Saturday, March 6, advance registration is required. 817-782-1269. REGISTER.

March Madness
Try to pick the winners of all 63 games in the NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship tournament. Top three winners will receive MWR Bucks. Bracket forms will be available online and at the Fitness Center beginning March 15. Must submit completed bracket prior to first game on March 19. Active Duty and Reservists only. Spring Scavenger Hunt
Search the base to find the hidden treasures! Everyone who competes will receive $5 in MWR Bucks, and the top three finishers will be awarded prizes. More details to come! March 15-19.  Info: 817-913-2388

Design Your Own Puzzle
We'll provide pre-cut puzzle patterns, you provide the design. March 20 1000 to 1400 at the Lone Star Center tent. $5, tickets must be purchased in advance. Must register by March 19. 817-782-5293.

Springtime Yoga
Enjoy a one-hour session of yoga outdoors! Open to all levels, participants must provide their own mats, blocks and other supplies. Must register in advance, limit 20 participants. 1100 to 1200 Saturday, April 17 at the NOFFS Zone, next to the Fitness Center. Must register by Friday, April 16. Info: 817-782-7770. REGISTER.

­Easter Mason Jars
We’ll provide everything you need to make your own sneak-peak holiday jar to store your holiday candy. Saturday, April 3, in the tent outside the Lone Star Center, Bldg. 2570, open to all with base access. Tickets are j$10 and must be purchased by April 2. 817-782-5293. 

Big Enough to Bowl
This is a great way to introduce your children to the fun sport of bowling. Kids ages 3 to 7 will receive instruction in how to bowl. And don’t worry about gutter balls, because we’ll have the lane bumpers set up. Children must be accompanied by their parent. Saturday, April 10, 0900 to 1100, at the TEN Bowling Center, Bldg 1815. MWR Walking Club
A fun, casual group walk every Wednesday along the Trinity Trails, about 3 miles round-trip. Meet at 1400 at the trailhead of Airfield Falls park, just outside of the base. Please register by day before. 817-913-2388.

TEN Bowling Center Grill
The dining room is OPEN with limited capacity. Carryout service also is available. Great grub is just a few minutes away! VIEW THE MENU. 817-782-5505.
