LESS THAN ONE HOUR AWAY

  • Search for Goatman in the Fort Worth Nature Center ( 15 mins)
  • Ride a mechanical bull or watch a cattle drive at the Fort Worth Stockyards (15 mins)
  • Go back in time to the 19th Century at the Log Cabin Village ( 20 mins)
  • Check out the animals at the Fort Worth Zoo ( 20 Mins)
  • Get artsy and visit one of the many art museums in DFW like the Kimbell Art Museum or the Nasher Sculpture Center (20 - 50 Mins)
  • Take the 45 minute guided tour at the Fort Worth Bureau of Engraving and Printing where U.S. money is made ( 30 mins)
  • Cheer on your favorite NASCAR Driver at Texas Motor Speedway (30 mins)
  • Tour the home of America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys, at AT&T Stadium (35 mins)
  •  Ride the Titan at Six Flags Over Texas (35 mins)
  • Drink a Frozen Margarita at the birth place of Frozen Margaritas, Mariano’s Hacienda in Arlington. (35 Mins)
  • Find some inner peace by taking a walk around Wat Buddharatanaram Buddhist Temple in Fort Worth (40 mins)

  • Tour one of the three Texas' presidential libraries, George W. Bush at SMU (55 min), LBJ at UT-Austin(3hr 15 min), or George Bush at Texas A&M. ( 3hr)
  • Visit the Birth place of Texas, Washington-on-the-Brazos ( 3 hr. 25 min)
  • Get AMAZING BBQ from Franklins or Salt Lick ( 3 hr. 30 mins)
  • Try a fresh scoop of Blue Bell Ice Cream in Brenham (3hr 30 min)
  • Visit Antiques Week in Round Top ( 3 hr. 40 min)
  • Climb to the top of Enchanted Rock or visit any of Texas' Beautiful State Parks ( 3 hr. 45 min)
